In 2011, El Indiviso’s land was redesigned to include a dedicated equestrian training and riding center with a horse walker, 28 stables, 2 arenas, 3 pens, 15 paddocks, as well as storage and tack rooms.

Thanks to this, you can now enjoy southern Spain’s Atlantic coast from a whole different perspective: from horse back. To organise this type of activity you must call in advance and it is always subject to weather or horse’s physical health. Here at Indiviso, we won’t push horses at all if they aren’t 100% ready for exercise.

Lessons and hacks

For experiences such as lessons or hacks, our horse manager Molly will be able to guide you. There are some activities which can be done on the property such as lessons in the arenas, and others which may involve a route down to the beautiful Marismas de Barbate, with spectacular views and the chance to see a stunning diversity of birdlife, specially during the migration season.

For updates on our horse-related activities, we have recently opened a Facebook page specifically for our horse department:

We currently have space.

Meeting the horses

Can I simply take a leisurely walk to meet the horses? Yes, if you are staying here you are free to wander between our paddocks and meet our horses in person. This is particularly nice of an evening while the sun is setting behind Vejer de la Frontera. We only ask you don't feed them anything as they have strict diets.
